Member States’ ministers for Sport adopted conclusions on the economic dimensions of sport and its socio-economic benefits.
On Tuesday 24th October, the European Commission adopted its 2018 Work Programme, with priorities and concrete actions to achieve before the end of its mandate in 2019. The document presents as well a series of forward-looking initiatives for the future of Europe. Among others, the Commission will pursue work to deliver the Digital Single Market, the Energy Union and the EU Agenda on Migration.
On a technical level, the European Commission, DG EAC also published on the 25th October the new Erasmus+ Call for proposals presenting funding opportunities and priorities for 2018. EuropeActive will start next January 2 new projects with the aim to make more people, more active, more often.
