GDPR Countdown – 3 months to go

You are here

The new European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) will come into force on 25th May 2018. Lately, EuropeActive has been very commited to be compliant with the new regulation.

The requirements affect all organisations and individuals who are managing personal data in any way, and at any level. It’s also important to know that the regulation will be effective immediately, in other words, there will be no lead-in period. The requirements are complex, onerous, and penalties for non-compliance are severe. It is recommended that every organisation needs to be made fully aware of GDPR requirements, so every employee has to go through specific training in this area.

EuropeActive advises you to have a look at the following documents regarding the new GDPR:

- EA Paper
- European Commission guidelines
- DataHub white paper
