Member States’ ministers for Sport adopted conclusions on the economic dimensions of sport and its socio-economic benefits.
The EUs most famous programme, the E+ programme is turning 30 years this year! The European Commission dedicated a year full campaign with events triggering plenty of emotions, memories and developments for the future of the programme. EuropeActive has been running successfully Erasmus+ funded actions, taking advantage of synergies that exist in our work in making more people, more active, more often and the European Commission.
The final event is taking place today, 30th November, in Brussels, starting with a press conference in Berlaymont with the higher commissoner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Tibor Navracsic. The afternoon includes the sealing of a Erasmus+ time capsule, including a.o. the Erasmus+ Generation Declaration and a High-level panel discussion on the future of Erasmus+ in the European Parliament attended by EuropeActive’s EU affairs team. The evening event will take place in Brussels’ BOZAR.
