The European Commission’s annual Education and Training Monitor finds that Member States have made further progress to improve their education and training systems.
International Standards Meeting organised by EuropeActive is held during 23-24 November 2017 in Rome as a part of the European Skills Week. This event brings together all stakeholder from the fitness industry in order to discuss strategies on how to communicate and implement the standards and to ensure the best quality of the European health & fitness sector. EuropeActive is emphasising its contribution to the skills development with this year’s subtheme ‘Uniting the Fitness Industry through Education’. This is a recognition of the fact that the foundation of the fitness industry is the people that work within it and the relevance of the knowledge and skills they possess.
Overall, the annual International Standards Meeting has already become one of the best occasions for international communication and cooperation in the fitness sector with an agreed global approach to improve education, recognition and social impact of exercise professionals and the fitness sector worldwide.
