Ukactive will move this year from plotting the role of physical activity as the “golden thread” in solving society’s greatest challenges, to a focus on delivery - as part of organsiation’s work to make 2018/19 a year of action. Consequently, the summit will address a.o. transforming the health of an ageing population, improving the wellbeing of the nation’s workforce and overcoming the physical, social and institutional barriers that impact children’s physical activity behaviours.
As an active member of EuropeActive, Ukactive is joining synergies to make more people, more active, more often. For example, Ukactive is partner in the Let’s #BEACTIVE project which promotes the participation of fitness clubs in the European Week of Sport.
