On 22nd and 23rd of May, EuropeActive attended the two-day seminar on the European Week of Sport (EWoS) in Riga, Latvia.

The official countdown toward the 4th Edition of the European Week of Sport (EWoS) has officially started.

On the 22nd of September 2017, the European Commission's Seminar on Healthy Lifestyle in Tartu ended with the publication of the Tartu Call for Healthy Lifestyles from the European Commissioners Navracsics, Andriukaitis and Hogan. Overall, the Call includes 15 important actions that have to be taken in a fight with a sedentary lifestyle and an unhealthy diet.

The European Week of Sports is very intense for everyone. While Europeans are enjoying fitness activities, EuropeActive EU affairs team is participating meetings and conferences including:

EuropeActive is organising the National Fitness Days within the European Week of Sport 2017 (EWoS), a European Commission initiative which promote sport and physical activity and encourages Europeans to #BEACTIVE on a regular basis, regardless of age, background and fitness level.

The National Fitness Days represent the contribution of the fitness sector to the EWoS: it will be an opportunity to present the economic and social potential of fitness.
